i never do that when i give away my cfg, why would i? if somebody wants to see how i play he can use my binds and stuff, i see a lot of ppl using my say_team-binds on public servers, if it helps them, why not?
the only thing they themselves should do is to remove the name, but that is not MY duty ^^ i give away my cfg to give ppl the possibility of seeing how i play, they are responsible for using the correct name.

why would you give away your exact name though? yes people 'should' be mature enough but actually, it's your duty. If you don't delete the name they can use it all they want because as you said

so what if using your name helps (in an unexpected way) someone? can they use it?

would you give your main password out to everything you own expecting someone to not use it other than what it was intended for? Would you leave your front door to your house open and go on a month long vacation expecting everything to be there when you come back?

I rarely lock my doors (found out that I keep forgetting to lock one of them anyhoo).

I fackenicked from time in the past coz of reasons unknown but NEVER with another live clan tag of wich I never was a member of.

Question is: why do that?
Play well and respect will come eventually.
Fakenick and respect will take waaaay longer to gain...
