Second movie on my latest list is:

Sucker Punch 2011

great gfx & sound effect + the music, lot of action and original concept + the chicks Tongue

was thinking the same seeing trailer, but i did fall aslep on the movie (not literaly), some load of nonsense, thought the effects and music is nice the movie from fabular side is like -10 for inteligence, its like Alice Madnes (game witch i like) with the difference it makes not much of a sense, even the not imagined word looks like its imagined, just a load. of effect to what someone tried to add a logic, even the marvel comics have more sense/logic

I am addicted to life.

There are really not many worth watching comic movies. But some of them ar really great, here is my favourite list:

Sin City
Constantine
V for Vendetta
Dark Knight
X-Men: First Class / Wolverine
Ironman
Watchmen

- Gentelmans, we are dealing with someone here who has absolutely no life..
- How do you kill that which has no life..?

To me Watchmen and Sin City were the most outstanding ones. Hellboy and the first X-Men movie aren't bad either. Also a great Comic movie (although of a different kind) is Persepolis http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0808417/

Yes its really good stirring movie but its an animation, its not
based on comic. Same as "Waltz with Bashir", also very good one and
heavy http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1185616/. There are also few anime movies that I like, however I didnt watch many, im not a big fan of this genre:

"Spirited away" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095327/

"Hataru no Haka" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0245429/

Most odd movie based on comic (and comic itself that I dont know) for me is "American Splendor" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0305206/ Many of you would say its borring but it has really nice ambiance and it makes you think.

hey koszmit, persepolis is actually a comic by marjane satrapi (who
wrote a few more comics as well). she also co-directed this movie though
and both are very similar.

interestingly bashir also sticks with persepolis for me, i always think of them as a pair
i do like animes since i discovered that they can be like the ones you posted. maybe you should give this one a try: Mind Game http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0452039/ its confusingly strange and the first half hour i thought this will be the worst movie ever but when i finished it i was quite fascinated. ive never seen such a movie before (or after^^).
american splendor is also awesome yea Big grin

True, now when you said that I remember that I read about it before I went to cinema and what is funny I even kept this comic book in my hand in a bookshop after watching movie Tongue Its also autobiographical story.

Here are 2 great films, for true lovers of artistic movies

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0379217/ "Coffee and Cigarettes by Jim Jarmusch
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243017/

<--- and this one is independent movie by Richard Linklater called "Waking Life",and title for itself speaks enough about this one. 99 mins of pure philosophy and thoughts by free minded people combined in an epic story about meaning of life. Recommended for everyone!
