flashing name
Copy it. Save it. Close worldpad and reopen it. Then look at the string.
Yep, it can't handle the characters. But as i said, Qname can't handle them either (at least with me..), so where did they come from?
It seems that windows makes a mistake when copying the charachters to other apps.
Will try to get some alternative copy-paste program and see if the error persists...
with the code in the config.cfg file on the server it works by me - i can copy and paste in wordpad, editor and in qname.

Did that ...still works for me ...when i save as unicode didn't try other things.
Qname.exe also w00rks for me ..
Dont quite understand. Did you or didnt you save in unicode?
If i save in unicode it stays the same, but the cft file dosnt work (size also goes from 16KB to 30KB)
Did you save my code in 'Text Document' format and it stayed the same?
makes sure that front size and font art is exacly the same!!!
? The font in Notepad?
well i didn't try saving as text document ...or maybe i did ...cant remember ... and dont have more time to try:D
ANd it's pretty obvious that the size of the file gets bigger when saving in unicode.
depends what windows [language] version u've
(when u havent windows en, u'll have problems probably)
here are steps which works everywhere (where is ms word):
1. design your name in qname
2. select it, press ctrl+c
3. run ms word
4. write seta name ""
5. place cursor between quotes
6. press ctrl+v
7. File->Save As (type of file "coded text"/"kodovany text")
8. next u must select another coding, correct is
Western Languages (Windows)/Zapadoevropske Jazyky
then u'll have file something.txt
move it to your excessiveplus folder
and rename to something.cfg
in game write to console /exec something
voila.. then u can save all via writeconfig
sure there are many ways how to do that..
maybe authors of qname can add button
'save to file' for owners of non en windows
It was a good idea. I tryed every coding posible. None worked. Im begining to suspect that Qname has a problem.
Notepad sux you all know that, so its time for a replacement
