Formated and colorised posts
all my respect to pandora.
he said what he thinks, in fact he always does that (not a sucker up),
he didnt offend anyone, i agree with everything he said.
and still rena continues to be a holy cow..
some things never change
I think that discussing on e+ forum stands on higher lvl that on other forums. Even if those two don't like each other and think otherwise still can make constructive conversation.
>>Look here how players can really insulting and be rude<<
About formating text... imho a lot of options on this forum like for example ; posiibility of making our orginal tags, avatars, attaching diverse signatures, photos, uploading and ofc emots and formatting text have one point - encourage people to posting and discussing here. there is no rule talking that it's forbidden and so on. Just like on servers, some players just prefer walking with rail and others using all weapons and sometimes somebody say - hey!! stop using mg!! or stop grenade spamming!! Everything was created by someone to using it like you wish or think and if rights are restricted there's nothing to talk about.
In fact it has nothing to do with formating - this 1 was part of another topic. Its just the name of it that suggests sth else

I also don't agree with your intake on moderator's community status. It's pretty clear you don't like Rena, and i'll bet it's now likewise, but saying, directly or otherwise, that he's an idiot, is not cool. All the more that atm he's probably our community's hardest worker (in terms of organising and supervising stuff). I'll bet he will accept and understand critics, but insults are another case.
He probably is the hardest working member of this community. And his work on Clan ranking is superb, so is (was? where is it ) his newspapers. He is, IMHO, not a good admin however. He, in this very topic calls Pandora brave and arrogant because he posts "negative" posts about him. If there is nothing to be afraid of to post negative things about him, then you don't have to be brave correct? I see that as a hidden threat, but maybe that's just me

Well, i'm new around here, but perhaps i have one thing you don't, and that's perspective. I don't see stuff here through the prism of "what has been" but i seem them as they are. I don't know Ogre, Alien, Fuser, MagicTL, Carnage, Kraken, Broken and all those other people who for various reasons have abandoned this community. I'll bet most of them were great guys and fine players. You're speaking of authorities - let me note that it's far easier to be one when there are four clans and only a bunch of guys around. Back then, you DIDN'T HAVE to do anything special to get attention. It's different now. I think you should leave the nostalgia behind you and start seeing things as they are - and they are quite good.
If you compare 2 different situations, and have only been present during one of these situations, how can you have "perspective"?
And, Madbringer, you say something in your post that really sums the feel of the community today up perfectly. You say that you didnt have to do something special to get attention. That's the biggest different in the "old" community and the present the way I see it. People weren't chasing attention as much. The admin's and the most "respected" people today are marked by postcount. and 95% of posts from most of them have zero value. We had a few postcount chasers back then too, but they werent really looking for attention, rather the number (Slipstream anyone?)
Alien got his respect by his contributions to this community both as a clanleader/player and as a very serious cheaterhunter (by means of configuring his pb cfg and sharing it), and his postcount was very low, Ogre got his respect for beeing a great player and a modest helpful person, also very low postcount, others got respect from other means of contributions. The VALUE of the actual posts and actions rather than the NUMBER of posts and actions.
There are those here in this community that have the same sense of contributing to the community only because they want to help like it was back then, but nowadays too many people just want their name to be recognized.
Maybe this is all due to the increased player pool, more people = less tight community. I guess there is no way around it. All in all the e+ community still has a very friendly atmosphere and most people treat eachother with respect. As in any community with more than 10 people not everyone will like eachother. Just accept that not everyone will like you and move on..
As a final note, and this one is not directed at anyone in particular. Respect has to be earned, and earned from each person individually. I am not going to respect someone until he has earned that respect from me. I don't really care about titles, mod rights or whatever, I care about actions.
Nice post you Sup...everything is true in what u said...u are a wise person...who thinks before posting.
Me i like sometimes to say what i think , straight , and no turning arounds..and here it is :
this kind of behavior is unacceptable.Rena is respected for his person and for the work he does.
Kikz and Pandora , do nothing for this community , except flaming on forums.
i have warned Pandora too many times.and sometimes here directly.now this is another thread wich shows his profile. Mow is someone that i respect a lot , with the work he does for community...and i know he doesnt need no advice from me....but i ll say it anyway :
I swear ,if i had a guy like this in clan , who says stuff like this to a very good friend and hard worker like rena, i would have removed him from clanDB permanently.
i mean why use the Word "Stupid" to qualify a Member ? in every meaning u mean it.it looks really pretty ugly and irrespectfull.
Now for Post colors..there are pple here who use all kind of fonts..this is just a reflect of personnality..i dont rememeber who uses pink..on his fonts..and says "only real men write in Pink".
Rena can use the color he wants.as long as the forum allows it.and as long as he dont use Capslock...
.nobody can stop him from doing that.

He's not a Admin, he's a Moderator in one of the subforums. My only problem here is that Pan, using a clever word combination, calls Rena an idiot, and while accusing him of looking down on other ppl does the same thing. That is not cool. I won't ever say such behaviour is good, not unless it's justified, and in this case the only "justification" would be Pan's negative feelings towards him, nothing else.

Got me here. I was looking for the right word, but couldn't find one, i guess i meant my vision of today's events is not clouded by what happened in the past, in relation to current E+ events

Aw man, that's a touchy subject to me. I already got a few whips for "spamming" the forums, and because of the big amount of posts i made in relatively short time i'm being percieved by some as a whore. I sincirely hope that majority of the stuff i write isn't considered as useless garbage, because making lots of meaningless posts IS NOT my point. And i'm not looking to gain respect through my postcount, i mean, what kind of respect that would be? I hope people will get to know me better and find out i'm really one of the good guys. I am, of course, perfectly aware that not all people are fond of me, but i think i've made far more friends than enemies in this great community. I'm doing all that is in my power to contribute at least a little, if only through my posts. Plz don't hate me for that

I agree up until the "i don't really care about titles" part. Admins are Admins, and Mods are Mods. They're not some random ppl that were picked out of a crowd, they're carefully selected candidates that comply with certain criteria. Now, i don't ask ppl to kiss their asses and praise them and other bullshit like that. But the least you can do is NOT call them idiots in front of everyone. You say that very often yourself, Bo. If you have a problem with someone, take it private.
Pandora_Ph3Quote:"Renatalis:Quote:"Pandora_Ph3": I think she meant sth else - that we are not actually idiots and can read smaller not specially marked parts of texts.Regards
Proove it
I need some proofsIf u want me to proove it - that means that you assume apriori, that we are all idiots. If that is correct then u r idiot by urself and if thats correct - then I dont have to proove anything to idiot - couse idiot always knows best.
so, people calling pan for flaming for this post? until there it was a common kidding, untill someone said, pan is flaming.
Rena was kidding, because he have known, that kickz post was ment like this, and everybody else.
pan underlined that clearly with a smilie.
following posts are gone to personal, and that all of colorised posts of rena? omg, people, i dunno what there is for a problem to post in colours, sure, i know, that marking is something to underline something, but if rena likes the colours, why do u bother?
sry, but the punishing here is in the wrong place, known cheater can play here on many servers and nobody care it. no big discussion about it. than, there is some kidding arround, out of the kidding arise something personal, and it ends in a flame war.
it is always the same.
pls use ur energy for something usefull, like building clans, joining clans, playing cws, fight against cheaters, or pls, simmply read just a book.
@CasaBlanca completly agree with u.
One more thing:
- If u really want to help, or just expose one topic but with a good intention,
is not necessry to use bad words, other way u are only waisting time, making others waist theyr time and making enemyes. Is better to make friends and work for the comunity u are: town, city, country and ofcourse
a virtual comunity like this.
- If u dont like somthing, u can "Talk", this is important because all we need a permanent update owerself. Is better if u just make suggestion in a civillizated way.
-If u like to be sarcastic, u never use bad or unpolite words, because sarcasm need only think well what u want to say. other way is only a bad
insult , not a sarcasm..
well, no matter who have the reason or if the suggestion is a good or bad one, if u dont be polite and patience u will never get good results.
Grettings
A look, now we have both in 1 topic.
how a sarcastic jopke can end up in a 3 paged topic...really FUNNY!
I really admire Rena for his work, for all his flowers and for who he is...but i dislike the way he posts...not the content (not always) but the style. Can i say that?
Casa ...there are only appr. 50 people that realy are active in organisation on E+...so the rest is useless to you? Just because they only flame on forum? No that deserves the status of Idiot if that is what you mean!
(so....you are ONLY an idiot if THAT is what you mean )
Rena...i miss you smilies
I am glad everybody still sees the humor in this topic!
