Wow, nice game Skull and Ulti. I think the end was so dramatic
hehe fragfest always get out of the mod all nasty things, many bugs always appeared due to so many players and the calculations made by server
until BFG projectiles in a form of grenades stopped to spread around all was fine with settings?

The problem raised because the entities limit for quake is 1024. Maybe you can play with like 50 people in baseq3, but not in plus, because people can shoot more weapons in plus.cfg, and every shot is one more entity (or more, as with the case of pants bfg that spawns 7 grenades), even the explosions are different entities. Btw, if you would have been played with plain quake 3, when the limit is reached the server would have crash, but e+ tries to free entities instead (like explosions and misiles).
However, all that said, beta6 improved prediction (which can be turned off by the server cvar xp_improvedPrediction) does add more entities (exactly one for each player) and makes the server to work more, which could cause also the lag spikes. In this fragfest extreme case i think it would have been better to turn the improved prediction off, and also to set sv_fps to 20 to make the server to work less.
So, dont just blame the beta6 release .
and i hope next one will be 1001 frags and not 60 min D:

Isn't that possible to set it in map ? I have seen before something that could be set to 2048 or 4096.
I think it's _blocksize in worldspawn entity.

No we cant, it must be a fixed number. We can of course increase the number but that would break compatibility with baseq3 clients, so it wont happen.

so problem about the weapon bug......::::
it was not beta6 or plusN or Plusbeta.cfg.
Ground: My root can only handle 32 as maxclients....i can try to make 50 as maxclients and he try to handle that but when all player come and play its to much and my root try to fix the connection, buffering, and hold the space but he cant hold the xp:cfg .... so i speak with my provider he cant fix it about over 32 maxclients....
sorry guyz i hope it was also fun with rail cfg...
next fragfest with new map and only 32 as max....
