There is a lot to be said for anyone that gets this worked up over a game, but then to come and throw any sort of personal attacks in however subtle--from both sides. It shouldn't happen in the game or on forums.

You're right, it is a game, and it's meant to be fun. And it's no fun when everything's delayed, rearranged, and being pushed forward at the end of a fucked-up week (a fucked-up week which admittedly had nothing to do with any of you) and then nothing goes right because everyone who's supposed to be organizing the game has their thumb up their ass :roll:

Dissonance was having the same problems I was having on the HK server, by the way. I'm sure there's a demo of that somewhere also. And like I said at the timeout when Spektra left, I was simply relaying what she was saying to me from the next chair over... I can see where both sides can be right and where both sides can be wrong - it's a stalemate, and instead of continue the bullshit further I decided to ask her then and there if she wanted to drop out.

She said yes, so I agreed in an attempt to keep this from continuing. Language barriers, time barriers, misunderstandings and real-life kept this from being a fun escape and it instead turned into some kind of quagmire I'd rather not repeat. Simply put, I'll not rely in the future on the organizational skills of someone for a series of games anymore unless they've proven themselves in the past (e.g., someone who has more experience with it and all I have to do, so to speak, is show up and play).

It does seem a bit of an attack. Let it go. That's all I want to do - consider any text I flung at O2Jr. that could be considered an insult to be rhetoric and just move on, okay? It's rhetoric. Make your own decision based on this information and move on.

Because that's what I'm doing. The text in red clarifies exactly how I'm moving on. Go ahead and censor, delete, lock, whatever the hell you want to do with my posts. Maybe it was a shitty evening for all of us and we took it out on each other because the we just couldn't escape into the game because of all the problems with PB, pure, lags, Joey B's missing glasses (), and so on.
