Freeze Tag has got to be one of the most annoying gametypes, and I don't see why it's played so often by others, mainly because you spend like 50% actually playing. You can get frozen by simply running into some spam randomly thrown out by someone and die, then have to wait for around 2 minutes waiting for the round to end. When I play, it's either the spam or getting shot behind a wall because of my ping. I'm aware other servers exist, but BEER.FREEZER is the only server I can play mainly because of the time of day I play, and it's the only decent plusn server, so really I have no other choice. When I want to play E+, I actually want to play and have fun, and not watch others play over half the time.

I mainly want to know why people choose to play freeze tag over other gametypes. At least with TDM you don't have to wait when you die, and it moves at a much faster pace while not affecting the gameplay as much. I can understand why freeze tag is played with FWs and CWs, as it's actually a bit tactical when compared to public freeze tag, but on public servers people usually play for themselves and thaw others.
