G9 mousebug
I got wierd problem with my mouse for few weeks already. When I moving over pad with it everything is ok, but when u gotta do a fast movement or just turn around fast ,mouse like stucks at one point
I tried reinstal setpoint. Also cable is ok, so here is a demo if any1 met smt like this, thank for advice
sounds like traction loss
At very low sensitivities, the mouse will skip if moved quickly. When I say very low sensitivities, I mean low in-game sensitivity, perhaps combined with a low DPI setting. I did not measure this out or do the McFly test, because, frankly, I think it’s overkill. A scientific measurement is best left to Sujoy Roy’s disc-spinning contraption. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you absolutely must use a very low sensitivity, stick to an older mouse. Most laser mice can’t keep up and aren’t made for that kind of crazy swiping.
might be that the laser doesnt go so fine if ur pad is dirty for example, any changes made to system?
g9 sucks, buy a mouse with a trusted sensor instead of this crap XD
on a serious note ... laser mice have a lot of trouble with the surfaces they are on...even if u think its clean, u cant properly clean it totally...what colour is it btw? they work best on solid black pads things with more texture can cause traction loss, for e.g. my roccat kone (laser) worked perfect on my steelpad 5L (original green textured one) but then a few weeks on it starts to do things like u have described...maybe try another surface ?
u changed in_mouse from 1 to -1?
Make sure to clean your sensor *very* thoroughly. From experience with my own laser mouse, i know that even a bit of dust or a single small hair can make it do weird shit. Blow in it for a minute, rattle the mouse a bit.
I got the same prob with my G9 but only on q3. dunno why.
If you use automatic change profil on game (quake3) change it on manual change. and if you use 1000hz change on 500hz. this change help me.
I can confirm that 1000Hz on most mice results in auto-shoot bug in quake 3
It happened with mine too, switched to 500Hz, prob is gone
I don't have that problem
1)pad is clean
2)it worked fine before
3)no radical changes in os
(.I tried to be perfect ,but nothing was worth it I don't believe it make's me real.)
