Hi guys, my MX518 is dying, cuts in and out and then powers off.I saw it's a flaw from logitech. I cosnider buying the g9x, but heard on some reviews that it has a deisgn flaw (cable is too low so it will get torn by the contact with the pad or table). I alsoheard it has a stiff cable which is prone to breaking. So any ideas guys? What mouse do you recommend me?

hey para, I will buy logitech g500 in few weeks... I've read comparison between g9x and g500, g9x is smaller which can be bad if you have big hands, also it has strange shape... sensor is basically same, or at least very very similar on both...

you need to ask yourself if that amount of dpi is really mandatory, depends on your sens/resolution. (http://www.esreality.com/?a=longpost&id=1265679&page=2)
i'd say logitech and microsoft produce the most solid mice, and they also provide you with longer warranties.

that being said, if you do not really need 5700dpi, rather focus on the size and shape.
it could avoid you to spend 80€ (i don't even remember the price but my jaw fell to the floor) on your future mouse.

my g500 used to skip pixels on Steelpad 5L and QCK: cursor wasn't moving when i moved the mouse fast enough.
razer deathadder suffered from the same problem (tested it in a shop). finally i got the razer imperator which works fine for me.
