Now let's explain better: i have my (apparently) regular quake 3 v1.32 perfectly working with no problems at all. the point is (taking osp as example) that when i load osp, maps are loaded and end-game stats too but i have the regular quake gamemodes (ffa, tdm, ctf and tournament). not sure if i understood u good, but since master server is down, the only way to connect is copy pasting the ip in console /connect ip

also cpma osp rocket arena, arent mods related to this website, here its excessiveplus.net, were u can download our client and find a cfg wich is some how related to your needs, or find a server with them but mostrly of them going to be empty since we do play plusn, and instagib.cfgs

maybe for this problem u should visit cpma website, or osp websites...dunno, maybe i understood you wrong and all this sentences will not help u at all x)

so.. from what i understand .. you are able to load the osp mod and you see the osp menu and everything like it should be in osp but you are unable to join/ create games that have other gamemodes then the original ones?

Can you specify what Operating System you are using ?

hmmm you should check the fs_game command in console to see which mod name was loaded.

If you dont see that note .. maybe osp mod didnt loaded ?
When a mod is unable to load, the default baseq3 will be loaded instead.

As for the map crashes: i remember that i had the same problem with cpma after i updated it to the last version. Some1 from the #cpma irc channel told me that i need to have all the maps in order for that crash to not occur
He gaved me a link to download the official mappack for cpma and after i've added it, all worked perfectly. This was for cpma.
