GMT & Daylight Saving Time
ok need to clear this up coz it going to get confusing for people.
with daylight saving time in force meaning all clocks went +1hr forward does this mean uk still is GMT an germany is still GMT+1
nope it changes to gmt +2
i think they stick to same +1 +2 etc.
all official pages picture it different.
the real time is now summer time. gmt stays fix, so to not confuse people we should make it as we do it since years.
So, GB = +1, ger = + 2 and so on.
rage u didnt look at the small info which was given there
CET is now GMT + 2 (german time, etc)
same for most other countries in the world (not all have daylight saving times! some dont even use GMT time!)
hm...but gmt+1 = british summer time (BST) and its not yet summer
why could they not just have it GMT all year round, in greenwich? complicated bastards
i just remember cent europe is always +1 ahead of us
even it isnt summer all have switch to summer time even the british guys
mh when i watch in my tray clock to the timezone its still on GMT+1 (normal german timezone and we have summertime atm) ... i dont think that the real GMT is changing that way for countrys, would be just confusing and sucky, i think we shall stay at normal (GBR=GMT | GER=GMT+1 ect)
GMT is always GMT and haven't nothing with daylight savings time.
CET - Central European Time = GMT+1
CEST - Central European Summer Time = GMT+2
WET- Western European Time = GMT
WEST - Western European Summer time = GMT+1
thats just showing u time for summer no one uses that in that way.
u still use same time zones.
GMT + - 0 for uk
GMT + 1 Germany
GMT + 2 Hungary an so on
example:
I want cw with blah blah @ time 20.00GMT u go by normal timezones an not with daylight saving time.
