This Thursday, Greece vs. Australia in the MCG, Melbourne Australia. Im not sure who to support, since I am both Cool

Its a shame, Greece didnt qualify for the World Cup but won the Euro Cup (aaah remember our bets you old bishes?? muhaha term told you all that Greece would win in the beginning, considering 35:1 chances)
woops.. back to topic. Australia qualified though Happy

Greeks won Euro thx to their lame tactic;) no wonder they didnt qualify cuz everybody knows how they play:P

yep greeks got lucked, a euro champion who can't qualify to WC show onyl that they are not a good team and don't desearve to play any WC being euro champion or not Happy

I think australia get an easier pool qualification than geek in europe, my point.
They should take teams only in europe, a few in africa and south america of course, the rest don't know to play and are just there to say the word "world" before cup Happy

Crap. The Eurocup is a cup, like the name says. And in a cup, the current skills of the team, especially towards their actual enemies, decide. And Greece played great this tournement. They gone better from game to game. Of course this defense strategy (thx King Otto Tongue ) haven't been very nice for the observer, but what the hell should a team like Greece ( Tongue ) do?
In fact, it was totally ok that Greece won the Euro Championsship. That they didn't qualify for the World Cup has for sure it's reasons in more then a bad team. In addition the situation was a fully other one.
I just say France won WC in their own country, next WC they didn't even shot one single goal.

hihi let me correct you, france won the world cup in their own country in 98 YA,

then they owned the european cup in 00 Big grin .... maybe don't forget this cauz no european team ever did this before... Football team skill is shown with time not only with 1 cup.

btw about WC 02 should i remind you how much goal posts they did ? More than all other teams in 3 match only(something like 7 or 8 ) of course that's not an excuse but think about it anyway Winking

btw2 we never missed a cup since 96 Happy

hum ? i think you don't got what i said lol

greek didn't made the worldcup 02, they won the euro cup 04 i don't know how, and they miss the wc 06. How can you compare france with greek ?

missing 3 match (1 draw and 2 losts) during a final pool isn't same than not getting qualifiyed over 10 pool matches against noob teams over i don't know how many years looooooool

I just wanted to express that every team can play bad World Cups, which i think every national team already proved. In addition every team has the same chances in a cup, so Greece can win with a good performance, and without, as you said "luck". They just won man.
