If i were you id choose console...I bought my x360 pretty long time ago...about same time my m8 bought new PC and he did spend way twice more money for it...in beginning it was cool but with time the games started to run really uncool (15-25fps) on his PC while on 360 it was smooooth.(eg.Bioshock,Cod4,Gears of War)..ofc if you have hi-end PC you can play in higher resolutions (at least the first few months after you buy it Tongue) but for me 1280x720 is really satisfying..+you dont have to worry that uncomming game wont run well on it...and lot of games comes out way earlier Happy And consider lot of exclusives like Forza,PGR,Halo series for 360 or MGS,GT,Killzone for PS3.
Dont buy console if:
-youre RTS fan
-you dont have TV supporting at least 720p

i like some rts ;] but old
imo playing FPS on console is shit
I dont have hd tv, but my friend too and he playing it on a 17" CRT monitor and it looks cool. I have 19"
Q3 dont run on my pc good, so i think its time to go to work and buy PC and Console Thinking

Well i enjoy playing fps games on console..aiming is not any problem for me...but i play on gamepad for years Winking
About playing on CRT..yeah i played like that too..also also thought it looks OK but still its far away from playing on hdtv (but if you have monitor is 16:9 its gonna look very good)
Quake is pretty old game so you dont have to buy new pc for it...how about just lil upgrade and youll save a lot of money.

celeron 2.0 @2.3, 640 ram, fx5200 128, i think it would work good on it but i was wrong... for comparison i played far cry and it worked good...
far cry 25-40 fps q3 25-50 fps...(on cw) <laugh>

i bought the game yesterday for ps3 and its amazing!
the city is realy large and full of details.
the multiplayer part is awesome, many gamemodes with up to 16 players.
if you got a ps3 or a 360 you have to buy that game! Big grin

Is it worth getting a ps3 for this? Bläh, seems kinda overpriced tbh. Also, was I the only one who didn't like San Andreas at all? Vice City on the other hand, Tongue
