Yes, its correct.
Lets just say its enough money for nice crazy 1-2 days here (alcohol included ofc) ...or peaceful 5-6 days (food without much saving).
1 bread is around 0,7 - 1.5 € - standard
1l of milk - around 0.6-0.7 €
5l of pure water - 1.5 € and more
Beer - not expensive in stores
In nightclubs/bars (on the coast) its from 2 € (mainly 0.33l) and more (in continental part - where are less tourists its cheaper (around 1.5-2€ for 0.5l) in clubs/bars.
Hard liquer is another story but I can tell you that its little more expensive than in Barcelona - around 10-15 percent (in stores - I even took some pictures of some famous brandy bottles with their prices on the shelves for archive). I was in Barca last summer. Spain is near you so you can compare to that easier I think.

I'm just gonna correct you little (keep in mind that 1€ is 7.25 kn during the summer, in winter you get more for euros here):

Btw. Zadar is nice place (some say with one of the most beautiful sunsets here + you are in nice location to go to Novalja-Zrće (place for young folks to go party) and near some nice places like national parks and on the south Split with its surroundings - I personally go there and I can recommend Trogir and Split.
Google the places ...then decide..but Zadar is nice start IMO. I agree with Seebz

Well... the prices are more or less the same as here in Portugal... well..some places are more expensive. Night in portugal in discos is so expensive.
One of the things i saw on some websites was the hostels, very cheap there, some places only 15 euros by night... and the beaches and all your culture is nice
Rawr show to me Zadar photos and i liked
I know Dubrovnik and Pula and Split are other important locals there to holidays, but a a little bit more expensive.
But i think is normal prices there
In Spain and Portugal in summer are really expensive.. and im sick to make holidays in portugal and spain, i need to meet another place
