Hey rusty , please explain in more detail about the Holy Shit. Did it say that everytime the BFG was used to kill?
The only time Holy Shit is said in QUAKE3 is on CTF when the flag carrier is fragged only a few inches (relatively speaking from the in-game point of measurement) from his own flag base. This can be done with any weapon.
This sound file can be found in the Pak4.pk3 file in the Quake3/baseq3 folder.

Got a 'HOLY SHIT' the other day, so it's still in E+.
Like GibleGrinder said, by fragging the flag carrier just before scoring.

Yep..the original HOLY SHIT is built into Quake3 by defualt when you frag the flag carrier. It doesn't matter which MOD you use. What this thread is about, is the HOLY SHIT said while fragging a player using the BFG during a Death Match.
Goto Death's Server and use the BFG and you'll hear it. However this seems to only happen on XP 1.0 which Death is using. So far the HOLY SHIT can not be heard on XP 1.01 unless of course you frag the flag carrier in CTF.
Either way...its funny to hear...

Yes its about the Direct hit form a BFG there used to be a cvar that was xp_holyshit in rc2..... That has since disappeared or been change to an undocumented cvar.... well EASY HELP!! LoL I bet he knows. HA

correct but the config used to use traditional Cvars in the config now its all weird so the only way it would work is if you figured out the command. easy knows but he is away for a little while for personal reasons, and there is not ETA on when he will be back. If you can get ahold of Cid, Whome I have never met) he might know.
