How can I download .cfg files from a server?

I often come across an excessive config that I like a lot on a server and would like to download it so I could use it later. Is there a console command to do so?

I've tried "/download configname.cfg" but that doesn't work...

How can I download .cfg files from a server?

1st. The standard configs u find in "QuakeIIIArena/Excessiveplus/Configs"
2nd. The custom made gameconfigs u find on varius homepages of clans and/or on this forum

For example the plus.cfg in my signature.

To use the customconfigs put them in to the folder i told at "1st" and enter in console "/load conf/configname.cfg"

I know how to use it, I was just wondering if there was a way to download it directly from the server using the console.

note: these arent all the configs... just a few.

(is it possible to see all the config variables on the server? if so write them down and make your own config? or am i talking out of my hat again...)

I'm not sure if there's a way to see the variables or not. I have written my own configs before for Beryllium and Excessive Plus, so generally I can get it pretty close to what the server was using, but obviously it won't be exact if I don't know what settings they used.

well u can open the cfg by notepad and see the variables Happy in e+ folder qtools shows exactly what each cmd does Smug that may help u !
