I'm presently learning how to setup a server and one that interests me is how to make the Qnames work. Any suggestions?? Thanks. Happy

they work client side, ie each user has the option of seing them or not.

of course your server has to be running e+ to begin with Happy

I am proud of spreading a pirated Excessive Plus version and claim to be the original author, yay!

Thanks for the info.... Winking
I just found out that I have to install E+ executable file and NOT JUST rely on what I received on the "allow_download" side of the game. There I found the Qname.exe in my E+ Folder. Working already Woohoo!! Laughing

Also if your interested in executing the qnames that youve created, create a new .txt file in your excessiveplus folder under Quake III arena and name it to whatever you want. Inside of that type

name ""

With the qname symbols inside of the quotations. Then once inside of Excessiveplus 1.03 (I assume verisions don't matter) in the console type
/exec nameyoumade.txt With the nameyoumade part whatever you named the .txt file. This is also great if you go by one or more alias as you can have more than one name inside the excessiveplus folder but you must remember to create new .txt files each time.
