for a game that is almost 10 years old we have A LOT of players. I would say even more than the whole Q4 community (all mods included).

Hehe okay the game is 10 years old but look...
CS 1.6, Starcraft Broodwar are 10 years old too and they've got a lot more players Winking

Thing is, the Q3 scene is extremely fragmented. If you'd take all the players from all the mods and all the gametypes together, you'd really have a whole darn lot of them. But as it is now, it's a bunch of guys here, a bunch of guys there.. doesn't look so impressive, but believe me, there are lots of people playing Q3, in one form or another.

How to get more players ?

I never really got into Quake 3 until just this week... I've had the game pretty much since it came out, but it didn't really do much for me... For some reason I can appreciate it a lot more now, maybe because I'm sick of games involving camping, and relying on team mates that are retarded.

Also, I love the movement and shooting mechanics.

u have aids (Cool

i managed to bring ppl to e+ by going to random servers :] and presented them to Teh Forumz

i think maybe like 15 ppl... and several US clans Happy but they all died and ppl joined other clans :]
