Re: how to lag clients weapons on an unlagged server

i play at a server in NY here in the usa. sometimes they play matches unlagged. and it affects how i rail. im used to leading some with my ping...and going to unlagged tends to mess me up.

im aware that having unlagged is easier to play. but if you lagged all the time..there is an adjustment to unlagged. and i should be able to lag my weapons if i want.

do you have any suggestions? or just a random critque of my post?

if you cant help. go away.

feels like lagged projectiles (and rail) hit in a really fucked up way tbh.

i think, you simply have to get used to it. getting advantages over other players isn't the right approach. i wonder why you didn't consider cheating yet. >.>
drukqs is right, lagged weapons hit in a weird way, especially from the point of view of players, that aren't lagging.

it was just a question why you wanted to do that and no criticism at all. seeing the difference is hard for someone like you, it seems.
have fun finding out how to tweak your cfg with suspicious commands. check the banlist as well, maybe someone who is listed there, might give you some advices how to bypass a fair gameplay.

try downloading some porn while you are playing, that should do the trick.

Seriously, what sort of replys do you expect after being so belligerent with only your second post.

Re: how to lag clients weapons on an unlagged server

yes i think like fala said above.. ( "client's weapons" )

Maybe you should check this command also :

Quote:
xp_delagWeapons
- Bitmask: 1- Machinegun; 2 - Shotgun; 4 - Lightning; 8 - Railgun

or here
xp_delagWeapons have the default value 15 meaning all of these above..
to lag them you should do \xp_delagWeapons 0

about the projectile weapons i don't know how you can lag them... i'm not sure it is possible...

and yes there are server posibilities to lag/unlag a weapon and if so you should check the Configuration System :

Quote:

/* Unlagged
*
* Bitmask to turn on/off unlagged specifically for each weapon. Available
* flags include (they are self explanatory):
*
* 4 WP_MACHINEGUN
* 8 WP_SHOTGUN
* 16 WP_GRENADE_LAUNCHER
* 32 WP_ROCKET_LAUNCHER
* 64 WP_LIGHTNING
* 128 WP_RAILGUN
* 256 WP_PLASMAGUN
* 512 WP_BFG
* 1024 WP_GRAPPLING_HOOK
*
* 0 WP_NONE
* 2046 WP_ALL
*
* If you don't want to mess with these values, a value of 1 is the shorthand for WP_ALL,
* which delags all weapons, including all projectiles. If you prefer old unlagged for
* which only the hitscan weapons are delagged, use instead WP_MACHINEGUN | WP_SHOTGUN |
* WP_LIGHTNING | WP_RAILGUN, which is the same as 204 (4+8+64+128).
**/

//$xp_unlagged = 1;

in e+ u can't turn off unlagged for your self, only from server side, in some mods that was possible, remember command cg_delaglhitScan "0" but in excessive no command with same function
