how to setup server weapons?

Hello sorry for nooby question, because i never try to set server before.so i download plusn cfg 2.4but when i exec it i have only 2 weapons active- gauntlet and mashingun , i found weapons cfg in the plusn folder but i dont no how to exec this. i try to put it ( weapons cfg text in plusn) but quake quits while i try to exec it then. p.s. i need to start my serv to train with gauntlet bots.

seems u simply need to do /load plusN
not /exec

are you sure you loading plusN 2.4 for e+ 2.2b?
as I remember such error happened if people try to load plusN 2.3.

You have loaded default cfg, it is not plusN then. This is can happen for both reasons: you didind puted plusN cfg to conf folder in excessiveplus, like this: excessiveplus\conf\plusN.cfg, and second reason cfg has syntax errors. Original plusN should works fine, but if you modified cfg maybe you did something wrong.

i try do load plusn 2.4 first then 2.3 (dont know about lag) maybe it is because of mac osx?
----no when mapa is loading it shows than it is plusn cfg (and in server info i see this)strange lag maybe i need to clean q3 folder try to do this on win laptop.

load should basically do the trick, however only mg and gaunt say that default is loaded. - So anyways, how about a screenshot of your excessiveplus / conf folder? Is plusn.cfg there as cfg, zip etc? If all files are good its a problem in q3config of e+, however that shouldnt happen.

remember about normal and bigger syntax, cuz plusn!=plusN in mac osx i guess, yes? check file / folder permisions. what 'link' you have in fs_gamepath / fs_basepath / fs_homepath

i have this cfg loaded but other weapons are not active it looks like i need to find ammo for them
