Interesting watch Happy Fun with demos. q3dm17 for the win Winking

Question though; that demo was really smooth and all was fine etc, but I watched a recording of myself (made by myself) today and it was absolutely horrible to watch, like watching some one with several hundred ping... Known problem? If so how can I solve it? I run an almost standard cfg and have little knowledge about it so help would be appreciated.

Hum. Maybe you had g_syncronousClients set to 1 when you played the demo? :scratch: Try running e+, set the cvar to 0, and play the demo. If that's not the case, then most probably you were loosing some packets when you recorded the demo.

Ah, could be that simple yeah. I DID have a torrent taking some stream both up and down but didn't think it was that horrible. Hope it was just that then Happy Thanks.

Yep, was it. Even a demo from a 180-ping server was smooth as silk. A lot funnier to watch than to play, hrm...
