I need lower prestanda!
hi i have a big problem with my cpu.
It always dies when it gett much to do... so i need to maby lower the prestanda for the game?
i think the motherboard is fuckt up. But i can play other games with no problems that dont take much prestanda. Q3 actually dont have much requirements...
how can i sett lower prestanda on game in config?

What u mean ? Reboot?
try increasing voltages within bios, but make sure u read what is the maximum for ur cpu, this should help
Maybe try to clean up your PC,reduce processes, off some unusefull services, use defragmentation.. Try to set max performence in your drivers for gf And dont listen tyr Or just reinstall OS
what u just said wont increase the performance any better, only make things more tidy with memory usage - i assumed he already did all this so suggested something a little more creative :] and tellin someone to reinstall os is like saying google it n00b
and increasing voltage will help for sure what he can do in this way is burn cpu.. What pc u have tyr ? core duo + all the best things ? heh so how u can see what is helping witch such a prob? i have shit pc and all this things are REALY helpfull.

Ye right.

did you or somebody else overclock it?
..could be an instability problem after overclocking.
also check your cpu temperture (with everest or smt)
is the cpu cooler fixed properly?

ok good point asc, but when i was overclocking mine i found that with insufficient voltage, pc would shut off every time - i increased them each time with increments of 0.05 until the processor could be steady under heavier load...like i say im just assuming everything obvious has been done, like u should in any help topic to avoid being condescending
Better set your bios setting to default and then try it. Look ofc if your hardware is good plugged into motherboard. Maybe your supplier is too poor. There is a lot of possiblities. Btw which cpu u got ?xD
emm i mean it cant handle much activity ...
