illegible server message

Hi
Somebody know this error? How can i fix this?
We play on server and change the sv_pure to 1 and I kicked with this reason:
But: I play sometimes on pure server (2!S Tag) but there i havent problem.

don't think im sure but i think happens to me too when dl anything with /cl_allowdownload 1 , but i do a /reconnect and all is ok . but im not sure . :roll:

what server?
perhaps the server has different files than you (ie the client is "pure" but the server isn't)

only there u got problems ? cause i had too on kod server when they enabled pb kicked me for not pure files. Maybe its the problem with pure on that server .

illegible server message
I get the same message. Not everytime but often. On 2Sweet freeze and MrClan freeze. Have asked Mrs Mona and some others but they dony have anyidea just that Cl_ apperently has to do something with the memory or something. But that shouldn´t be any probz on my computer..
So does anybody have anymore suggestions?

Could the problem be the motd being too long on the server?... Just seemed odd to me when I extended the motd to being larger it kicked me for illegible server message all the sudden.. Then when I made it smaller it didnt do it anymore..Yes? No? Maybe So ? lmao
Hmm and seems to only do it to some people..
For the people it does it to though when the motd is smaller it stops giving the message..

this always happened to me when server was made pure on some servers. basically after turning on pure, the map needs a restart or rotate. and that solves the problem.
