I am still in school but have moved out got my own place that my dad is paying for while i am in school. But with my appartment I got DSL which is to slow so I no longer play. got me a girl now and got in a small wreck about 2 months ago. Then my work got robbed about a month ago the dumb ass took my phone. SO yeah alot of shit has changed for me. How has iraq been and what are you doing over there?
Welcome back bro
Glad you are back home safe.
glad to see ANOTHER metalhead active in this community welcome back gibs
very facintating to read what u wrote, i had a relative to my who also was in iraq(i think) maybe something similar but anyway, he was extremly unlucky. Under a missile attack, he accidently was 1 feet away from where the missile hit.. and got blown to peaces, a real tragedy it was all over the news. Anyway what i was wondering was, how is it to be down their knowing that you might not wake up tommorrow due to something similar like i just told.. Isnt that really hard to swallow? Or do you not think about that at all?
Welcome back btw
Welcome back soldier :salute:

Well, Iraq was rather interesting. I will tell you that the people do want help unlike what you hear in the news. I had a great working relationship with the U.S. Marines & the Army. I also got to work with the Austrailian army & the Polish army both of which are great to see in action.
My job consisted of working on networks for the U.S. military. It's mazing all the computer stuff I had to work with but it was all for basic communication with loved ones. Also there were a lot of contractors from other countries. I had a great time chatting with a few Serbian contractors who helped me work on my serbian language skills.
I had an great opportunity to talk to the locals and learn a great deal about life outside the North America. The only other place I have been to is Frankfurt & Ramstein, Germany. Let me tell ya, Germans can drink a lot of beer man...holy cow
My trip was a great learning expierence that will live with me for a long time. I really don't have an opinion on the war itself. Like I stated before the people if Iraq need all the help they can get. I even got to see the Iraqi Army in action and I must say it had me wanting to play Quake more than ever!!! Yes war is pure hell but has it's reasons.
Right now I am re-building my computer and having to re-install Q3 but rest assured I will up & runnijng soon.
Thanks to everyone for the welcomes and the support.
