Hell yea! Let's eat some crackers
Mh, GOD TV = American version of TV Trwam, greetings go out to father Rydzyk (father Rydzyk is the Polish national bigoted priest extra-ordinaire)
It's a parody site, they had a link in the footer linking to a disclaimer explaining their motivations for the site. For some reason they've taken it down now, probably to keep up the illusion, which works well if you ask me.
Well Moses runs Linux
Ah, they moved the text I mentioned to their disclaimer:

ShelleyTheRepublican.com is a satirical web site that should not be taken seriously. If you feel offended by the content or parts of the content you have to leave and you are not allowed to come back. ShelleyTheRepublican.com is a satirical entertainment web site. "Shelley" and her friends are fictional characters. Shelley's opinions are an amalgam of many of the right-wing pundits who are frequently featured on conservative TV and talk-radio.Shelley's views are outrageous, offensive and wrong, but no more so than the right-wing pundits that saturate our media. The purpose of this website is to point out how utterly absurd these right-wing views are. The fact that you had a lingering doubt that she was "for real" meant that you too agree that Shelley's opinions reflect what some Republicans actually believe.
Naturally, Shelley is an exaggeration. No single Republican combines the religious mania of Pat Robertson, the brazen menace of Sean Hannity and the hysterical nonsense of Anne Coulter. Shelley is all of these people and more. The fact that you dislike Shelley means that there is hope for us all.
It's safe to say that almost all information in all of the articles on this site is false. The web site is designed to be funny. We hope it made some of you laugh.
If you don't find it funny, we kindly ask you to leave. If you don't want to leave, we beg you not to ruin the joke for others. If we have upset you we are truly sorry. Despite what Shelly might say, we truly appreciate your comments. Every one of you who commented on the site, you made our day. Thanks. We really mean it!
ah, it was sooo much more fun when we werent sure if it was for real or not...
Yeah, thanks a lot Parasight, for taking all the fun away. Party pooper.
Actually, i'm kind of relieved to read it wasn't for real. My pokemon are too. Who's the wuzzy, fuzzy electricity generator locked in the basement for 20 years. Be a good boy, and you'll get to eat some berries today, just be good, papa needs power to watch a game on tv. Don't you pika-pika me, you yellow sonuvacord.
I find it more amusing to know it's a big satire and seeing all the conservative nutjobs falling for it, supporting Shelley and cheering her on. It's uncomforting to know that what people do intentionally as satire is dead serious for others. It also shows how fragile and unsubstantial these beliefs are, if anyone can come along and preach them to a bunch of people while not believing one word of them.
