I am not a gamer, and I have only a few months of q3 experince, only last month i played e+ almost every day. So, i am a beginner actually, i dont even have a carefully compiled cfg atm. Im usin MS usb wheel optical mouse. And those back turns and indeed all other movements are almost pop skills, i mean spontaneous. Well, no time records i member. But i'd recommend u to play on deex to improve ur personal highs Big grin And let me tell, u scare me on 1vs1 HQ, u r insane! Last week i was on nice straight games on 1vs1 and u came up and pounded me 12-1. Game lasted in 1 or 2 mins, and i kept only 20 sec alive imo lol. That was a nice lecture but im gonna try not to play w u man in the near future, its annoying Happy

Also.. My lagometer is generally green. Well of course i dunno how bad lagging is, cos i havent played w 100- ping. But i believe its not that difficult. The greatest problem is switching weapons. This is why i use rail too much. And if u didnt mind, i would say its even possible to get a 70 acc w 250 ping on unlagged servers. Lagging is an advantage in some cases, but of course aiming is not better imo. The good aim on deex, nihil, is bcos of the profle of players imo. Its another, long, interesting story, however.

sure lotta of noobs which you can shoot easily, they dont moving, but imo with unlagged and ping 200+ you can shoot relatively far from moving enemy to get frag, it needs some 'foresight skill', but when i am playing on 60ms i am aiming on model, but on 200ms i am aiming near model to get frag.. same like shooting enemy behind wall

this is unlagged technology, and with high pings..

and of course if he was mentioned and outed as a cheater, as he isnt a stupid person he wouldnt use it again, especially with people who would notice it, so i think this is going to go no where.

we might as well leave it as it is, he isnt banned he seems a nice guy and he realises we're not being ass holes about this, so lets leave it for now, and i would rather not see some people coming here to bitch about the guy without a demo.

i think everyone has been quite grown up about this and argued points instead of getting bitchy, this is good.

but the problem we have is the arguments either way are both very good thats why i propopse we leave it.

what you think?

As I see it, cheaters should be IP-ranged banned. However as he seems rather popular it wouldn't surprise me if only gets away with a warning and a second chance (if found guilty, that is). I really can't have any opinion on that if it would happen, as I do not know how harsch the admins usually are against common, nobody, aimbotters. Also, the thread still fills a purpose...people haven't yet commented the demo (well some) and given their opinions. Something Stollo said was necessary to prompt an action from his/hers side.

Okay - time to make a conclusion.

Because of the fact that some players are sure that Unruly wasnt cheating and many players are not sure he was, I decided to make use of a presumed innocence rule.

@Unruly - im sorry it happened to you. I will not ban you from servers, but I will continue specting you. No hard feelings. I hope you dont mind. Just wanna ensure that I was wrong.

@NIHIL - thx for your ping/lag related observations - I found them useful Happy

This was a very interesting thread, it’s a pity it isn’t a sticky thread so that everyone will read it. And while a few errant comments and some unfortunate snipes were made, the deliberations and the process made me happy to be a part of this Community.

Well done, Stollo. I’m sure you feel, with good reason and experience that he was guilty but you’ve sensibly ended the issue, and everyone, including the accused, has benefited from this ordeal.

Now how do you go about configuring xp_enemymodels? Laughing

Allows you to force all enemys to use one model.
Can be combined with cg_forceModel 1.

Example:
/xp_enemyModel "tankjr/default"

/set xp_enemyColors "0000"
This takes only effect if you use the alpha skins.
The format stands for 4 colors as "<rail> <head> <body> <legs>".

Example: (makes all enemys lime green)
/xp_enemyModel "tankjr/xp"
/xp_enemyColors "4222"

I use enemy model and enemy color a lot. This work really well against n00bs that like to use the invisible xaero xp skin. Many ask me how I find them so easy :mrgreen:
