lagjumps???
hmm...whenever i play euro servers i get this problem regardless of gametype....kinda hard to figure how it would depend on gametype unless the netcode for each gametype is different..which im thinking is not true cos thatd be stupid lol....but then maybe im missing the point....
however since we're on the discussion about lags and lagjumps....i play a lot of cpma nowadays and rather curiously even with 160 average ping on euro servers i dont have too many problems with lag, infact i have only one problem namely LG efficiency. ive been told that the difference between e+ and cpma in terms of lag and the difference it makes in the game is because the netcode in cpma is much better...perhaps we could learn from that? dont know whos on making a new version of e+ but id like to help if i can....
Same for me is true also, I play CPMA and E+ on both Euro and U.S. servers, and the lag is much easier to handle in CPMA than in E+. The netcode must be what makes the difference because CPMA handles all gametypes equally well for me...
="WAX"]This is a bug that arrived with 1.03 it didn’t happen in 1.02b
i already had jumplags in 1.02b
they can be fixed by reconnecting, map_restart and g_synchronousclients 1 (maybe there more methods)
if there are no multijumps there no jumplags

yep but not in 1v1
snd_restart and/or vid_restart helps sometimes...
I always get them when I first join a server. As soon as I reconnect or the map changes, it goes away. If I manually connect to a different server after, it comes back again.
Are there any plans to fix this bug?
hmm... perhaps it depends on my connection, im currently in germany and runnin 3mbits with wlan and i got it anytime.
normaly i dont have lagjumps!
