Launchpads are too powerful

Hey Guys, I'm new here but i started setting up a server in OpenArena using this mod for the RTF capability. I noticed that the launchpads are too strong and are over launching while in the mod. Changing g_speed has no effect on it. Can anyone tell me how to tweek the speed they launch you at?

So i found out last night i was using the wrong map. Apparently 13Vast has the right power on the pads but q3wcp23 does not.
Gravity was normal.
