hi all !
this is my huge problem of connecting to some servers..
1rst case, i can connect to both german servers #1 & #6 without any problems, i have 170 and 180 ping relevant. no timeout thank god
2d case, i CANT connect to netherlands server #5 hosted by evol. and i should have around 140 ping there. but really laggy, and when i join server, the message ' THIS SERVER IS FOR LOW PINGS ONLY ' appears several times when i type ' reconnect ' over and over again until it connects
but after 1 or 2 seconds after i connect. bum, TIMEOUT.
3d case is with PL servers. bassicly the ones hosted by camel. i have no problems connecting, but once im inside. after 15 seconds.. bum, timeout.
can someone tell me whants difrence of server ? maybe sv_timeout or sv_maxping relevant to this problem ?
i had this problem when i barely started playing e+, after some time i got rid of it.. and now its back
important note maybe..
i formated yesterday. and i went on all servers without any timeout or any lagg prob.... i was so happy 
but today.. i tryed them again, and got timeout all over my face. 
plz xplain :'(

Try to connect to other pl servers, like aim[+], or those polandamg and tell if that appears again i mean those timeouts, if yes, that mean that u r far away from poland and ur connection is cutting after some time, i cant do anything about it.

lol ye when u let them go like that with you omg ... sure they tell you like that, that isnt otherwise on 1&1 or telecom ... the thing is that u have to make presure and tell them the way how to talk with ya (sure dont scream them) but u need to make them know that u arent a kidd which is ok with that answer if u know what i mean ... my mum always said: "Where there's a will, there's a way!" ...

u gotta point there, but my cuzin has same isp. we leave very close to eachoter, and he dont has this ' timeout ' problem as i do ..
plus,
i need to know the problem first, in order to yell at them, cause i wont stand to fight with this idiots if i dont know source of problem. i need to have basic information, and thats what im trying to get here on forums.

Have you run any sort of tool to measure your bandwidth? If your cousin does not live that far from you, compare it to his.
Also there are a couple of reg hacks you can do to increase your MTU....I'll have to find them again if you haven't done it already.
Also could do a trace route to the server you're having problems with. If its too high or too many hops between you and them, not much your IPS can do about that.

could be the sv_maxping settings on the servers, if they are set lower than your ping then your not gunna be able to join.

true, but u know it isnt easy cause u also dont left very much informations so i like to go step to step ...
- I think we could obviate Game/Configside trouble.
- Is it possible that u ever tuned anything in your settings of your network-adapter (like MTU or in/outgoing puffers ect.) ?
- Are you cleaning your pc up regular ? [hijackthis,spybot,kaspersky and things like that]
- How deacon said already pls measure your bandwith when u loading smth bigger down from a server which could give alot more speed then u could get, and tell the max./min./average, is it stable ? ... and perhaps compare it with bandwidth of ur brother.
- Just try a few other servers, for show servers from USA or from your coutry and especially with (sv_maxping "0"), is it there the same ?
Answer that questions as good as you can, cause then the infos are here once and all ppl can help you a bit better i think
