Lightning texture
Can anyone tell what cvar can I use to change the way lighting appears?
Screenshots are done on same version of quake, with same packs, CPMA mod, only q3configs where different.

is this supposed to work ? i couldnt get it to work
i dont think you will be able to get it to work in e+.
maybe buy turning off xp_nomip

if i use picmip 5-10 for example, is it possible to keep weapon textures nice. e.g bfg & rockets look like squares
I don't think it is; the whole point of picmip is to get the graphics less complicated and have less detail. I don't think you can make somethings have bad graphics and other things have good graphics.

xp_nomip was the command for that if i remember right.
anyways there people with a rate of 24567 that dont have even lightning
If you wanted r_picmip at 10, but normal rocket explosions and stuff, what would you set the xp_nomip at?
