hello
i want to show to the user a link where they can download map before
to come on the map they dont have,
how its possible?
possibility to show a website adress?

first off if the client does not have a map that the server is loading, q3 is gonna try and send them the map if they have cl_allowdownload set to 1; if they have it set to 0 then q3 returns to main menu saying map not found blah blah. in either case theyre not gonna be "on" the server. so u cant very well show them a link when they dont have the map in the first place, conditionally that is. so what id suggest u do is to put the maps download link with ur server motd, and display it prominently so the client would know where to go to get a map he/she doesnt have. even then imo most people dont bother reading motds. Happy. so the answer is no, at this point u cant flash a download link to a client in q3. not in any useful way anyway.

i saw we can put i link on the spider excessive plus on the server page.
i uplaod my map on ftp. map-infidel.pk3 but link doenst appear,
why?
