Redhat 9 is no longer supported at all, its EOL. But there is a big community around linux to ask, tho the redhat channels are filled with morons like me Happy

I sneak into the debian channels when I need an answer and Unplayer cant be found Happy

I know...I know...i used redhat at one time. I wasn't dissing it totaly.
For anyone who wants to give linux a try with out having to uninstall your windows or having a dual boot system...Download KNOPPIX

http://www.knoppix.org

...it's called a live CD...this means that it boots first and run's 100% from the cd !! Shock Make sure your cd-rom boot's before the hard-drive does. Once you are done with playing with linux, reboot with out the KNOPPIX disc and your system will boot as normal.

I keep the disc updated and use it a lot to fix Microsux's Windows problems (like when you cant re-boot Evil)

Anyway...its a great learning tool.

If you like knoppix and know a bit about it, instal debian. Knoppix has to much shit. Knoppix is a normal debian system loaded with crap, so if you install debian your system will be way faster then with a knoppix install.

Free yourself use Linux.

One of the best Distro's, if you use the net installer no preinstalled shit, so you decide exactly what you need.
Apt-get just rocks, stable and fast. Real good for servers because of its configurability. :twisted:
(But still gentoo rocks, but it is way tougher then debian, and debian can be a real bitch to install if you dont know what to do).
