Eh, i don't like splitting stuff to "different" sites.

People talk about "not dividing the community" but i think all these domains do that. The best solution for the crowded main forum page is the sub-forum thingy.

"Excessive Plus" section remains the same
"Feedback" section remains the same
"Ranking" section remains the same
"Clan Base" is 'shortened' to a single link which gets you to a "subforum" with all the clan forums BUT with the same memberlist, same mods, same admins, same layout, same EVERYTHING.
"Team Base" same as in "Clan base"
"National Team Base" same as in "Clan Base"

Also a direct link in the line "news files media forums clandb spider changeslog" for clan ranking

I am sure all have seen such "subforums" in other forums, i don't have an example right now, maybe someone can give one or i'll dig later. It's the same single forum in the same single domain. (clicking in "posts since last visit" brings everything from ALL subforums). I feel really really strong about this. I don't like the way everything is devided, wtf!

Keep everything in the main site but tidy. ffs

bottomline: events domain, wc domain etc are pointless and divisive imo. Bring everything to the main page but with subforums. wc, events, EVERYTHING.

clan ranking subdomain should AT LEAST have the exact same layout as the e+ site and a direct link to it from the "main line" i mention above. (edit : clanrank domain should be in the main domain too, imo.)

The new site is currently in development and will all be on the same page.

We are trying to follow a similar design on these sub domains temporarily until the new site is complete.

World Cup is considered a community project thus the national teams will be shifted to the world cup site.

To give you some insight into the new website, it will be a lot more neater and there will be separate designated sections within the internal site for each function. ie. Clan Base will have a separate page that is accessible by a click on the main page, including ranking and what not.

Please bare with us, the site is following minor cosmetic changes to allow a smooth flow until the new site comes in to practice.

Expect to see the new site shortly after the release of 1.04 which should not be too long away.

I've been hearing about that new site for months so i thought it was washed away. Still, I gave my feedback with some suggestions and ideas. Anyone who has something to suggest is welcome, i suppose ;]

And if noone gives any input, i'll just use this for feedback on the new site ;d

ps: same memberlist ftw + 1000 stuff in 1 is the idea ;F

Even the Administrator's need friendly reminders

Back on topic - I take on your feedback & suggestion and I personally must agree that the main page is rather cluttered and the use of sub domains scatters the site.

The new website will be based on sub categories (Like the clan base being located on a separate page but being linked from the main NAV).

Minor cosmetic changes for now until the new website is up; that's all.

I use that feature all the time and don't have any problems with so many subforums. Simply click on groups. Simple as that...

could the new forum be customizable ?

or let the forum detect that a user is a member of groups and display those group in the main list so they dont need to click 4 times to reach there own part in this forum where they need to look every day.
i am member of dutch team and lemon so they could show up in main list and i can see in one moment if there are any important posts for me.
