Hi!

I wanna make some movie from demos, and I need your help with this. Here is a several question for it:

1. How to caputre video from demos? Which program best?
2. How to put it together and add some texts? Which program best?
3. How to compress video to decrease size?

1. cl_avidemo X (in x u put how much frames per second (fps) u want to have in movie, for example 90)
or in q3mme (but u cant edit there mvd demos) /capture tga X (many ppl says that this has better quality, but imo its bullshit)
2.VirtualDub is free and best software to put frames (screens which quake made by those commands) into one action. There u can also pick compression, but well if u want to know more about it, just talk to me on msn. Best to make movie + compress it are Sony Vegas Studio or Adobe After Effects (this one is pretty harder). Both arent free ofc, but well... just talk to me ^^
3.If u will upload ur movie to youtube, u can search there "hd quality compress" or smth like that Winking There are many tutorials about how to compress movie to high quality. But ofc i can tell u about compressing many things in private Happy

to make more advanced movie i recommend to use q3 mme (quake 3 movie maker's edition) and movies with the mod can be captured directly to avi files.
