And yet I think you are missing the point here, nobody came to play both of above mentionned servers. Changing the CFG would just make rus rail freeze empty. But I would love an active IFT server

I am in for this idea as well! This is I guess the only q3 mod that is still up, and I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible, thats why I brang my clan here as well.

I probably am speaking up for my entire clan now when I say that I(we) totally agree with this, since I don't think we will stay here for too long in case we go all back to r4 or banana cfg or what is it called...

honestly this'll fail, and I'm not pessimistic, I'm very much a realist.

people will just stick to servers that are more crowded and people that play RUS RAIL used to play on hiszy servers which were (drumroll) very popular back in the day.
well, ofcourse Warrior or red_carpet as some of us knew him kept the servers somewhat clean and people kicked/banned were pressured to play in other servers, now all you gotta do is change your cdkey, no IP adresses banned whatsoever, because TPAX himself said that he doesnt give a shit who plays on servers as long as there's players in general, I used to talk to him quite a lot and I have a pretty damn good memory.
now every player who's accused of cheating and MOSTLY russian players act like they've been made the enemy of their country, except those who really are have more dignity, cheaters on the other hand dont.
so instead of going deeper into matter and explaining why a certain player is banned or why he should keep his mouth shut, he's instantly unbanned to avoid the fuss of being called a bad server admin or tr8t0r, but the truth is in fact, that those who dont perma-ban cheaters are the worst admins.
ERA servers had and still has excellent Ban management, BUT they're avoiding Banana type configs which upon appearing of RUS RAIL lowered their player count untill they had to minimise player slots to save some cash on server and later on shut the server down complitely and look at it now https://www.excessiveplus.net/spider/ftag-era-rail-qlinsta-v1-8 top 9 players, not 20 but 9, the only players.
Well I'll end this by saying, I'm not the one to talk, I barely play q3 anymore, I'm done trying to beat a dead horse, like me and Vanilla Crew tried with Vanilla CTF & so on, so just dont get your hopes up too much about anything happening, the hype will end in a week and the pr0 admin TRAX will shut the server down.

He most likely quit because he realized that real life is much more important than this place, one thing you fail to understand.
and he was an admin with no actual programming skills, so what good does that even give.
