Hi,

Objectives :

  • Have a ranking of a hundred players who will participate.
  • Know who can play very well in many gametypes (detect the most skilled players)

Comments :
Mega Event 2010 (best e+ player title) - COMMENTS

Organisers :
Currently : skull and me
We need more organisers.

Registration :
Registration is closed.

Start :
Currently fixed to 24 arpil 2010

Servers :
Mega Event 2010
.DIABLO[+]RAIL.
More will come.

Maps :
Maps for each round has to be defined.
Round1 : q3dm7
Round2 : q3dm8

Configs :
PlusN with xp_itemStyle 2
Bananarail.cfg

Gametypes :
Railonly Fragfest, FFA, Freeze Tag, CA and 1vs1.

Rounds :

Round 1 ( 100 ) : FFA railonly (Bananarail.cfg) 7 groups of 14 players selected randomly.
Map : q3dm7 with many additional spawnpoints.
Players from 1st to 8th from each group passes
Players killing the most are the faster railers/campers

Round 2 ( 56 ) : FFA plusN 4 groups of 14 players selected randomly
Players from 1st to 8th from each group passes
Players killing the most are the best multikillers (spamers too Tongue)

Round 3 ( 32 ) : Freeze Tag plusN 8 groups of 4players selected randomly
Each group play only one 4vs4 3maps (always a tie)
Only ppl having best score in overall players pass (16 out of 32) => ppl thawing more have more score = best tag players

Round 4 ( 16 ) : Clan Arena plusN 4groups of 4players selected randomly
Each group play only one 4vs4 3maps (always a tie)
Only ppl having best score in overall players pass (8 out of 16) => ppl staying alive the longer have more score = best CA players

Round 5 ( 8 ) : 1vs1 plusN 4 groups of 2 players selected randomly : quarter of final
1vs1 2maps (optional tie) players choice
Here are remaining only best players in the event.
And the end is near Big grin

Round 6 ( 4 ) : 1vs1 plusN semi-final : players are selected as standard tourney
1vs1 2maps (optional tie) players choice

Round 7 ( 2 ) : 1vs1 plusN final & 3rd place : players are selected as standard tourney
1vs1 2maps (optional tie) players choice

Awards :
The winner will be called best e+ player of 2010 (fragfest, ffa, tag, CA & 1vs1)
There will be a ranking depending for each round.

Round 1results :

  • ended and half of regitered players haven't shown up
  • the remaining slots haven't been taken even freely
  • 52 qualified players for round2 instead of planned 64
  • some games were cool and some shouldn't be called games 3-5 came (shame)
  • registration is totally closed ofc
