Best album since Rust In Peace? Discuss.

After listening to only the first track I found Dave Mustaine's guitar playing ability is better than ever, their new lead guitarist Chris Broderick is amazing, the songs are much more interesting and well-crafted. Drumming is about what you'd expect, if a bit laid-back, and bass is definitely no Dave Ellefson Thinking But still - it's the best work I've heard from them since the first album they did with Marty Friedman!

I dare say Mustaine's lead work is better than Friedman's ever was Shock Which is a huge difference, as he did have some kind of unfortunate ATV accident that damaged his wrist, preventing him from playing at all for some years.

Anyway, all metal fans discuss this new album here Winking I'm very satisfied with it and like it much more than anything else done since Rust In Peace.

I can't say I'm a super slayer/MD fan. But thx for tip for the new album anyway, will check it out for sure! Happy

I was honestly expecting Seebz and Skinnis to have commented already Sad But since they haven't I won't post any new music threads until something else big comes out. I was going to make a post about the new Nile also. Glad someone found the topic useful though, Laki Happy

A bit of a hasty post ^^ i think. Megadeth is not one of my favourites but,i might have to buy this one since the Broderick fella is in the Mustaine mob now. It is the Chris Broderick of Nevermore yes?

Until then i rest my case Matthew, sry Confused

I have no idea because I've barely heard Nevermore, all I know is he has a very progressive style and sound and his name is Chris Broderick ;>
