Hi, i would like your response on the following.

current setup:
http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/9017/razer1.png

da 3g on eyepad
in_mouse -1
res: 1920x1080 @ 60hz
ingame sens 0.7
windows sens is default
no accel

question 1:
What effect does razer driver sens have on the dpi i have set.(does it limit it/you dont get the full 1800 if sens is less than max)
for me this is an issue, i was advised to set driver sens to full, but with 1800dpi and full sens the mouse is unusable in windows (too sensative). tried setting up different profiles, 1 for ingame, 1 for windows, but the profile does not change the all the settings therefore its somewhat useless for me.
right now, 1800dpi and razer sens 5 are perfect for windows but ingame i get alot of traction loss.

question 2:
what can i do to reduce traction loss?
some fast turns result in the crosshair flicking to top/bottom of the screen.
could changing settings reduce this/would changing to a better surface/pad possibly eliminate it altogether?
how does this sensor react with different color than black, like white for example.

i dont know whether i intend to make any changes atm, but would apeciate your opinions/advice.

thanks for responses.

A: changing driver default (win 5/6 or what it was/ razer 10) results in an inexact mouse behaviour, it might be still right considering the percentage of real info dropped, but it definitely is not showing your hand shaking from fear loosing to an enemy. Beer aside, it results in a mathematically unprecision you might life with, or might not.

B: no idea, change mousepad? My da is nearly working right, so either it is the pad or the lens distance to it.

I have same mouse and very seldom traction loss. This is my pad:
http://gamingweapons.com/roccat-taito-mouse-pad-review/

I am used to the high windows sens with that mouse, but if i do graphic works at home i set it down from 10 to 1 in the razer software.

In some games I have to reduce it also in the razer software, otherwise the sense is far too high to play the games even with the lowest sensesettings ingame. Like ME 1&2, DA 1&2.

Since in Q3 you can go very low with sense (for me 0,3 and 0,45) i let it at 10 in the Razer Software. Profiles are not working for me too.

i used, all default 500 Hz 450 DPI and sens in quake i think was 2, mouse pad lengt = 360 degrees

try to test with that, for me it worked very good but every gamer play's diffrently so its up to you what you want.
