Hello everyone!

Today I have felt that my mouse started to don't glide enough on my mousepad.
I have a MX518 and like every other mices it has mouse skates.

Instead of buying mouse skates I thought about finding a solution for now.

I play electric guitar and as the mouse must glide well on the mousepad, the fingers must glide well on the strings. That's why most of guitarists have a product called "Fast fret".

This is like a sponge you rub on your strings, and I did the same thing on my mouse skates.

It can last few year before you must buy another one and costs only ~2€ (in my country) in every music shops.

After doing it (it takes 1 or 2 seconds), I NEVER FELT MY MOUSE SLIDING SO MUCH ON MY MOUSEPAD.
So for those who are interesting, try it and enjoy...

my mx518 doesn't have mouse skates Sad i'm polishing the bottom with tissues xd and it works for 10-15 minutes (1map) and i have to polish it again. Alot of tissues Happy

How can you don't have any skates under your MX518? Every MX518 got it. Maybe we didn't understand.

mr brainy, maybe he used to open that mouse and removed the skates to do so... and now he doesnt have skates like he said...

Mr Jerky, no offense in what I said, so no need to say "Mr Brainy". And even with the mouse already opened one time, you can still have those skates, or use the fast fret on the whole back of the mouse...

I play guitar, how does that shit feels on fingers? Maybe i could use that jizz when i am too lazy to change the strings (always)
