I once did 2 sides in the 80's ....
Then my mate bought a book on how to solve it , I was like what’s the f****** point of that ? Its at this point I realised I was wasting my time. I mean even if I managed to do it and put it where everyone who came round could see, and I could say ‘ohh btw have you seen my finished rubix cube” they would probably reply “you borrowed john’s book to did you”

(I know you guys will laugh, but you cannot underestimate the cred value of solving this monstrosity when it came out , before the book came along a completed cube could get you laid by 2 women at the same time....
....well suffice to say people where impressed. )

So I destroyed it with a sledge hammer, and set out on my quest to kick the shit out mr rubix..never did find him

@Van you geek ..hm then again I am answering a forum about rubix cubes at 5:40 am, that doesn’t exactly make me vin diesel I suppose
