most probably u do have a AMD multicore processor with Windows XP and this is caused because cores are working unsynchronized, the ping time can raise to a big values over a time and can lead to serious problems in the game and other daily internet usage
the solution is to replace the microsoft cpu driver by the newest driver from amd page, and if yours processor is a dual core u can also use dual core optimizer also available on amd page
the files attached are for amd 64 x2
Ok, I got winxp, athlon x2 250 and do not have that problem, is there still a need for testing if cpu works unsynched?
had that already, still no effect.

interesting thx i dont have AMD.
test that after few games played (like 2-3h of lan traffic) because each time u reboot pc the ping will going to be normal
I am addicted to life.
