What do other people think? Cleaning up this topic would also mean that ONLY transfer/name change/etc announcements would be tolerated, any "gl's", "hf's" will be trashcanned, the current AND any future ones.

This topic at it is for me is just fine. We have tons spam topics which can be deleted as well if we should free some space. For example What a blast from my speakers now. IMO that tread should be deleted and started again. I mean what is interesting what people was listen in past 2 years ? But that all is just my opinion.
