knockback is not the same as before, ur moves will be different now.

i am willing to change the switch time to restrain the abuse, but i want to keep it as fluid as possible

this is more reactionary to the E6.cfg which was developed by part of the e5 community and is being touted as the next config to be used in a new league, which has resulted in the split of clans to the acceptance of the config.
so u make another new config to splitt community not in so much configs????? :scratch: :scratch:

the guys that agree with moede, to my understanding that some of you actually helped in the creation of the e6 config, but it depends on which points you agree with him, so I can not comment on your decision to agree with him...
if u have a look to the e6 u see my favorite settings
i like the weapons in e5 and e6 like they are, ur weapon settings are strange imo... (i like to "spam" little with nades, mg is a nice weapon imo and perfect balanced in e6, insta-rail sucks, e6-rail is a nice final-shoot-weapon and the bfg settings... i agree with mow lol)
movement in e6 is only a question of getting used to it... same moves possible as in e5.

with changing splashdamage, there is atm no way to compensate it with knockback to have the really same movement as before.
ronin wanna make a real new conf, e7 ? then my advices for you.
Change only a few things, if it become too hard to frag then the mod won't be popular anymore with beginners, medium and pro skilled players.

What we need to change the combo bfg + sg, no instant switch, just a little delay between it nothing more, try it and you will see
spam :
a lower recharge and a lower bullet stock at starting (specially for nade, bfg and mg)
nothing more else you change too much, the smaller changes are the faster all players will get used to it, popular will be the conf.

yep... thats why i am compensating with the knockback settings... is there something I am missing? can you go into more detail? sorry but saying that moves will be different leaves me slightly confused.

yo strahli, after playing a couple of maps with e6, i found that it didnt work with the way i move, and some people have said the same to me. maybe I didnt understand the reason for e6 and the E6 league, good luck to the clans who are in the league, but what about other clans, and some players who dont accept the e6 cfg (I've even seen players leave clans because of this)
this config is not to split the community, it is to offer an alternative to e5 & e6, i'm not forcing anyone to play it, but i just wanted to create a config that the community can change about what they don't like or see as unfair.
I'm always open to suggestions, what do you like, and what you don't like and what you want to see different.
