hi, i have a really weird problem under vista.. my new installed q3 won´t create a config for e+ and if i exec one it doesn´t work.
if i run the game in the admin mode it just crashes in the first console with the msg "failed loading default.cfg"
does anyone have a solution for that?

Versuch doch mal Rechtsklich --> Eigenschaften --> Kompatibilität und stelle auf XP SP2 und "als Administrator ausführen".

sry Smug

english translation right click -> properties --> compatibilty (?) xp with sp2 Smug and admin mode Smug

dont know if that will help Big grin

Also note that you have installed Q3 (or whatever is) in a folder with FULL PERMITTIONS !! C:\Program files is NOT like that!

You can rightclick on quake3.exe and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR ... that HELPS !!
