not downloading
Hi easy sorry but the mod is to bigg ppl dount downloading it any longer
it takes to long time to download it.That makes ppl to play without the mod and then it looks like any mod to them. That dosent atrackt them to downloadit eather. It meens not many new ppl in the mod i hawent notist any new ppl in it leatly.+ To many ppl without the mod on server makes server insabil and it starts to ackt strange. Not fun fore does playing with the mod. Many complaing about strange laggs on servers. lagg meter dosent shov any laggs but servers ackt like it is lagg and i have notist that it is so when many ppl without the mod is on servers.
ps And i hawent sucseed to make the corkscrew rail that i was told
i should bee able to do in this version

it takes to long time to download it.Well, our download statistics proof you wrong. The final release has topped all releases and was (and still is) downloaded more often than all prior releases together. Unfortunately that means huge traffic amounts for our server and we are still looking for more mirrors.

Also remeber that server-side is a feature not a disadvantage. The servers would be more empty when forcing them to download, no matter how big the download is. Not to mention if 'sv_pure' is enabled the server won't allow people without the client-side.
Another reason is Punkbuster, there are still many people having problems to either connect with PB or update it.[mr. wrote:mullder"]To many ppl without the mod on server makes server insabil and it starts to ackt strange.
No, people without the client-side have absolutely no instability effects for the server, they even use slightly less traffic. If the lag-o-meter do not show you any lag then (in most cases) it is Punkbusters client-side update. That's the only reason I don't like PB, it starts to update in mid game and the game beginns to jerk.
I love this version, so much easier to work the cfg and so much more you can do with it, good job +team!!!
I still feel like there is some diffs in the aim, but latelly it seems to be to my advantage.. Is there a hidden aimbot or something in the clientside? LOL

i should bee able to do in this versionForgot that one. You can recreate the behaviour of the corkscrew railgun but not the visual part.
I thought that mullder meant that ppl don’t download from his server, and where else can they get the mod from than your server? In facts I think that there are less players downloading it now as well. And less players that give the mod a second chance.
I have played "Corckscrew Rail" but first i needed to download a file it toke (SWE=Tog)<--Bad English. it toke 15minutes to download it. It is a cool server but no players

Compared to other modifcations XP is pretty small. I think not many do download directly from the server because the speed is very limited. It's much faster to query Google for a .pk3 name and you will get a direct download link with acceptable speed.

Maybe from the original site?! Like said this release has already topped all prior releases (even summarized).
But like you saw new releases will be only updates and thus smaller in size. That's the way every modification goes.
If you wan't a filled server:
1. Disable Punkbuster
2. Disable Pure
3. Restart it pretty often
That's the way to get a server at the top in the internal game browser and that's why all new players will connect there. If they like it they will sooner or later find their way to www.excessiveplus.net and get addicted to the community.
And at last take a minute and think about what you guys are discussing here. Did you mentioned any problem? Did you provided any solution? What do you wan't us to do?
We are pretty open for new idea's.

.
That isn't true
If you spec someone without the mod, and you chat, every time your message appears on the screen, their crosshair points straight up to the sky, or straight down to the ground...
This happened in 1.02b also.
Cant agre with u.So u worke with it
