PB probleme on my new server... :(

Hi all !

Nobody can stay on my excessive CTF server!
They are all kicked via PB for some reason like "PB init failure", "Client Technical Issue : error loading pbag", "too many Re-initializations", "time out", "bad ascii characters" and also something with "flow" (dont remember the full sentence).... and also something with "empty cd key" (probably when the client hasnt entered a cd key....) !

Could somebody help me to stop this shit things?

For information my sv_punkbuster is set to 0 and i havn't set master servers in my cfg...

I would like to completely disable PB because it make my nervous !! lol

My second probleme is that if somebody can join the game he is allways automaticaly kicked in spectators...lol Confused

an idea???

try /rcon pb_sv_disable
or try SETA sv_punkbutser 0 in your server.cfg
or try +set sv_punkbuster 0 in your xp_dedicated.bat Winking

or (thats the way u can enable pb Winking) simply ask an admin of a public server for a pb.cfg Winking (u have no address in your profile.....)

PB probleme on my new server... :(

type the folowing in and you will be ok on most areas..

\rcon pb_sv_extchar 1
allows the characters used by excessiveplus

\rcon pb_sv_guidrelax 7
allows empty and unknown guids to be used on server.

then save settings by typing:-

\rcon pb_sv_writecfg

to manualy update server pb type :-

\rcon pb_sv_update

remember people will need to stay spec while their PB updates sometimes it can take 4-5 minutes.

if people have not got pb turned on in their cfg it will kick them for pb_init failure

if you really want to turn off pb - type:-

\rcon pb_sv_disable

then you MUST type:-

\rcon pb_sv_restart (this will make sure pb is off)

OR you will need to restart server (and if pb is set to come on when you restart server you will be back to step 1 Happy )
