anyway for all those people who f1'd this topic, get an irc client and idle on #e+pickup on quakenet. better yet, get ur friends to idle there. im sure if trance or foksie or someone noticed one day that there were suddenly 25 people idling in the channel theyd start up the games on their own.

ps: i think the main reason why the games died were because people were just too impatient. ok fine u dont like waiting an hour for a game when u just want to have some fun. but that doesnt stop u from adding up for a game and then playing a pub game until the pickup gets full. after all u can just /quit in the middle of a pub game.

I agree.... I think the main reason was being impatient. or trying hard to make the # of players needed wasn't possible many times.

What if we made peoples server a private server, i.e. password only, no fakenicks, etc. Callvote would be available for gametype, etc. Then, all u have to do is go wait for ppl, or hopefully not

Let me know what u think, and if it's cool with all my admins we can do it np.
