Hi i'm posting for a friend that need help, some players have this problem in some servers: ( not always but it happens)
Server disconnected - unpure client detected. invalid .pk3 files referenced!
Yesterday or 2 days ago I was playing with friends @Dok server the daily rotation, and after some maps played, @next map 1 of them has been kicked for unpure client while that client is PURE.
I asked to check baseq3 and delete not-standard models skins and temporary files, but it's all ok.
But how is possible this kick while me and this player was playing before?
Who met the same problem post here.
Regards

Re: Player kicked for invalid pk3 while client is pure

hi, crazy. several days ago i was playing on 'aim+ freeze'. all was going nice, but then suddenly server disconnected with the same message as you posted above. i tried to reconnect a couple of times but it didn't succeed. i never had such an issue on any pure server before, so it was very surprising for me, but considering 'overkillv3' was the only map i recently added to my baseq3 folder, i renamed corresponding pk3 file to make it unrecognizable as pk3, and then successfully connected back to aim+.

dunno if it will help you.
