When i started this mod a few years ago, there were players and legends that I used to look up to. People like Harding, Torzelan, Hyli, Evol Wax, Lem Larry, to name a few. (many more to name)
Just wondered what happened to them 
These days there is a completly new breed of (mostly polish players "no offence") that change their name/clan/fakenick so often we dunno who is who.
Seems like all the good players and good guys are leaving/left/inactive from here 
Even the admins are nowhere to be seen and completely unhelpful to new players. There were only ever a few admins that helped like Lady EN, Faster, Gemini, Mona, Camel, Mistress, skinnis, Mow and (Firefox - (whom was very helpful although having a few misunderstandings with her)
I remember playing on 2!S freeze often and everyone would use their clan tag without the pressure of playing good etc, and giving the odd smiley when killed in style . There are only a handfull of guys left who I actually recognise in servers. It's a real shame that it seems like the community aspect of e+ is dying. Even if the player levels stays consistent.

torz quit e+ after sfc, hylian is around, harding doesnt has a crt, wax quit due to inet reasons (enemys were delayed by a second on his inet Oo) larry is around, but rusty.

simple reason: they got bored or overun by life, or both.
you cant really expect anyone to play the same shit for 4 or 5 years and not get fed up.

also one major thing that killed most of oldschool players and had them leave is the death of 1vs1 public, brought by the incredibly annoying spectator bug.
1vs1 used to be one of the most popular gametypes with at least 3 servers full most of time. now it is nowhere to be found.

yea, the difference was a 14 slot server was playable, not like now.
mow put bigger maps for keeping up 14 slots as it started getting not playable, instat of using smaller slot limit and badluck, it went wrong.
thats the reason why i barely play freeze public, u go to a server, small maps, lots of people and a lot of spam (i dont got a problem with campers, they are easy to shoot imo)

well, who i more or less miss are:
- HQ! (biggest lost here ever imo)
- harding (missing to get totally raped)
- torz (well, i can speak to him on msn still 
- superbo! (always direct and honest, here i looked really up)
- adler (one of the most helpfull persons here ever)
- Dan[o00o]b (had counltess ffa fights against him)
- short (when u had him in ur team, u had not long to w8 to get unfrozen)
- anemic (always wanted to be good as him before he bcame rusty
- void (felt as a good friend)
- wax (he always reminded me to get not too upset

Well, i also thought a couple of time to leave this mod ... but somehow there was always something which did not let me go. (also because i dont find any other mod/game which is making me so addict).
To be honest, yes, i hate those fakenickers, switching names more often as underwear. IT was always way more fun to know with who u fight, this is how it was possible to get friend with smo. I did not have since ages a good bity convo on servers.

Although I'm one of those who consistently fakenick I agree with you whole heartedly. The atmosphere is gone, and has been gone for atleast 6 months to me. That magic feeling is no more. Now either I'm getting tired of the place or it's actually changing for the worse. I hardly recognize anyone playing anymore. For better or worse.
What I miss most is the polite & friendly atmosphere (granted I'm not the most talkative person on servers).

I think the for an example the Battle off the beast Gen.X.Zoomer4 Vs Wasp.Harding match was played back at the 1.02a that period off time. :] great time
Well i can totall igree that the atmosphere is almost totally gone :\ i remember the old good times around 1.02a totally diffrent attiude whit folks etc. much funnier 2 play yeah you name it evrything! dunno exactly what has happend 2 day though. does not feal the same as before. mabey it nver will be the same either so what can i say.Time changes Sad but true.So Reno try 2 remember the old good times and keep them deep in your heart! whit those LEGENDS & PPL that you look upp to, cause those times wont be back. and this fajk nicking has gone out off hand really it wasnt like this 1.02a time ago! sure some fajk nicked but it was not offen and i am mean not offen! evry 1 always sayd who they are or just had there orginall Nick. Nver any Fucking Around.I think this was probably the main reason aswell why almost evry one was soo good friend whit evry one. evry 1 knew all the time who they was fajcing eachother on the server totall diffrent attitude.
sry for changing the topic little Reno Mate but i have 2 say 1.02b was best off all time i think. Whit those Gen.X.Clanu mates :] players like 2fast4you well Sub zero is here known as lemlin today. Unplayer, SuperBo, Snemann, and sry for those that i have forgott :] best times off them all! Lemlin fill me in hear! wich once have i forgott :oops:

well dont think its any1 who doesnt miss those times so lets do smth about it or this topic is for remembering the old times just?
well offtopic : one of the main reason ive quit e+ was that i couldnt install pb ..so i propose a 1v1 passworded tourney without pb 
offtopic 2 : what was the name of that server ..it was with 1.02b..smth like lg,lk,dk .. i just remember 2 letters .. was pretty popular back then.. it had a site also . any1 remember the name of it ?
also im not into this game scene.. i just played e+, dota 1 year or so and cs in parallel and now poker.. whats with the massive amount of polish ppl here? its like this in other mods, other games? 
not that i have smth against but ~7/10 are polish(kinda huge related to polish population, europe population)
