don’t drop any nuts or bolts in that potato when you rotate the core, last thing you need on your first start up is anyone saying, "should it sound like that ? " as you hit 20psi

rofl I'm guessing he's gonna have fun balancing adequate boost to open the wastegate without melting the pistons or blowing every hose on the damn thing.

Christmas had good feeling this year. Just me and the family, total relaxation. Only happy faces, no stress and damn good food. Just for that, it was a Success with capital S.
...but seriously, Christmas needs stuff under the tree. Think I did my part by letting my little sisters pick an Xbox-game*. The most notable stuff I got under the tree though, was an outdoor thermometer (which I have to admit I'm really thankful for but the fun-o-meter doesn't exactly go off the charts) and... uh... yeah.
Outrageous!** This had to be corrected. Remedy - gifts for self. I quickly set out to another, larger town since my own is... lacking (it hurt to use such a nice word) in sortiment when it comes to computer stuff. Or anything else chronologically correct in the current millenium.
I planned on spending rediculous amounts of money and me and a couple of friends were out all day. In the end, I returned... not quite as triumphant as I thought I would. One single item worth buying followed me home, a gamepad with rumble and all that cool stuff. Now I can finally get my TV-deprived self some oldschool Mega Man and Castlevania action going thanks to the wonders of emulators.
But yeah, that thing cost me like $20. Sooo... I impulse-ordered a computer.
AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual-Core 5200+ 2.6GHz 2x1MB
Asus Extreme GeForce 8800GTS 640MB DDR3 HDTV-out DUAL DVI SLI-ready PCI-E
2x1024MB Kit (tot. 2GB) DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz 5-5-5-15
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer – Fatal1ty Professional
Seagate Barracuda ST3320620AS 7200.10 320GB 7200rpm 16MB cache SATA2
...psu/case/dvd etc.
Sure, I doomed myself to noodles for a month, but that's hardly going to be the centre of my attention. Now I just hope the stuff they didn't have in yet will arrive in time (070101) and that they'll be sending them goods to me a.s.a.p. Nerd be cravin'.
*They love, and seriously cheat at, that stuff. I, on the other hand, suck horribly at playing FPS games with a controller. My younger little sister laughs at me and has stood on top of my head in Halo, sniping me to death. No joke.
**Just messing around with the way I'm writing, of course. Not even I am that materialistic... Atleast not on Christmas.
Merry Christmas you weirdos and a Happy All-Fingers-Intact New Year!
